i've seen an external 250gb drive for £145 from hitachi. all my mp3
collection is streaming audio of bbc drama. about 80gb plus many cds.
quality is fine at 16 bit 2050 hzs

well, with .ogg, i find that 24 bits is even quite reasonable.
