Hi Dane,
They haven't disabled the click feature, I have an iPod Classic 80 GB, and
it clicks actually louder then the 5th gen version. Its quite audible, and
it clicks throught the headphones as well.

Well, I hope you can. They even got it going with the 80GB, so that would
be better than the one I've got which is 30GB. It's a good player, and I
hope they do get RockBox going on these newer ones.

Yeah me too, I like the idea of the 160 gig drive, ah well it looks as
though I'll have to settle for an Ipod video if I can still lay my
hands on one.

Yep, this is correct. I'm using it perfectly fine on my IPod video, but
alas, the classic is out, as far as I know. What a shame, as I was

No, not for the new Classic know, I think it was around for earlier
versions though.
