If it is the creative USB card, I could never get it to work at all
-- sound would come out, but I had problems getting the mic and other
things to work properly, so I gave it up.

Question 1: Does this card have a strong microphone pre-amp?
Question 2: Does this card have knobs, or must all adjustments be made
through the computer?
Question 3: Are the jacks one eighth inch mini jacks or are they R C A
jacks?
