It has nothing to do with bending. It has to do with
breaking. When a discussion gets away from the intent of a
list it continues to go further and further off topic and

The FTP discussion was straying into how to use various FTP
programs and not discussing uploading and downloading audio.
Otherwise I wouldn't have said it was off topic.
The way to use a particular program would be more appropriate
to discuss on a general Windows list.
