making a CD

Hi, It's me again what I mean is I want to convert a MP3 file to what ever format I need to make a CD that will work in a car CD player using gold wave so I then use my premiere CD burner to burn the CD... Hope this make's sense to some one out there. Just nead to know what format to use...
