To further what gary has told you, I've not been a member of Audible since
2006, and I still have access to all the material that I purchased prior to
leaving, and any time I've contacted customer service, they've still assisted
me with no reservations.

Set source to wav under volume control, adjust volume for recording, and use
Sound Forge.
Of course, you'll get some screen-reader speech at the beginning unless
you've got an external synthesizer, but it's better than nothing.

Hmmm. I think possibly Sony A-Track is pretty small, and MP3 Pro and OGG.
They are all much smaller than MP3 for sure.
But it does depend on what bit rate and sample rate you use when encoding of
course.

here are a number of other features which are not accessible in the basic
version, but I believe that Pro is not very expensive. Certainly not as
expensive as say, Real Player Pro would be.
