I recently bought one and have found it to be only somewhat accessible. I
had to get sighted help to lower the headset volume. There's a slider for
that, but Voiceover does not seem to find it. I have not yet succeeded at
recording raw ms stereo. I've had success recording on the 90 and 120

You could also get very strong hum if you accidentally plugged into the
video ports rather than audio on the TV.

First question is can 5.1 surround sound be played via an MP3 file?
Also, I'm looking for a very rich audio file to play for someone to demonstrate
the surround sound features of my Bose system. It came with a DVD with some
good audio on it, but it's not very blind-friendly.
I'd like suggestions
I use an Edirol HR9, and although it's usable and somewhat accessible, it is
certainly not as accessible as the Bookport Plus. Now that I have the
Bookport Plus, I'm not sure I'll ever use the Edirol again.

I recently got a home theater system with 5.1 speakers. Can MP3 downloads
contain surround sound recordings, or are they strictly stereo? By looking
at the properties of an MP3, is it possible to determine whether it was
recorded in multi-track?
Thanks.

I have one with a key ring on it, and that makes it long enough to reach it

One thing I've found after following the FS instructions. When I boot up
with the USB sound card plugged in, JAWS starts talking through my USB card.
If I then unload JAWS and reload it, it talks through the internal sound

The rest is a matter of setting the various parameters within the vol
Yeah, one of my USB cards does have an earphone jack, but I don't hear

Have you guys seen the open letter from Gold wave to Audible. As of this
morning, it was still on goldwave.com. It's in response to Audile's demands
that Goldwave remove any reference to converting audible files with
Goldwave. The Goldwave company's response was excellent.

I think Trim is control-t, not alt-t.
If you put a left bracket just before the part begins that you want kept,
and then a right bracket at the end of the part you're saving, then hit
control-t, then save it, you will have trimmed the beginning and end stuff.

I would love to learn how to use the loops. I've tried and failed, even
though I have the scripts.
Parts of Adobe Audition are accessible with the scripts, but it isn't
completely accessible by any stretch of the imagination, as far as I know.
