It has an mp3 extention, and when you try to play it, it just sounds like
data, almost as if it ws a zip file with the wrong extention.
Thanks,
Dave.

Hi David and raoul and anyone else who uses this program. I haven't totally given up
with this, and have successfully retagged files from Explorer. Okay, so how do I edit
a template, i.e. the explorer gives me the option to retag \artist\album\track -
title. I now need one that does

I just downloaded what I thought was an mp3 file. It doesn't sound like it to me, in
fact, it sounds like nothing on earth. I have tried giving it various file extentions,
but with no luck. Has someone invented a way of compressing stuff into mp3 files, do I
need to do something to the file, is

while ago on h9ow to use mp3 tag studio. I hope I still have it. If so,
I'll repost it.

I use a program call alive wav mp3 convertor. I came across it on the web a
while back. Its not the most accessible program, but I've seen worse. I have
now set it up so that I can convert files from windows explorer.

Okay guys, This program has finally won.
I think it may be because I'm using window eyes, but I can't find the edit
field where I am supposed to put the components of the tag, and it also
won't let me select files.
I give in.
Thanks for all your help,
Dave.

I just experimented. Enter usually executes tasks so I thought I'd try
control+enter. I've seen that combination used in other programs.

Tag Studio doesn't appear to do anything. It doesn't retag the files despite
them being selected in windows explorer. I'm sure that there's something I
have ticked which I shouldn't. David T, any ideas?
Many thanks,
Dave.

I'm having a bit of a problem with some wrongly tagged mp3 files. The name of the file
bears no resemblance to the tagging. I'd like the tag to be the same as the file name.
I've got lots of files to alter. Does anyone know of a program that will do this for
me, or at least make it a bit easier?
Does anyone know a non pointy clicky way of selecting part of a file in colledit pro.
Not from the beginning. There's a bit in the middle I need to get rid of. I thought
I'd found it, but I lost a load of stuff, so I must have been wrong.
Many thanks for any help,
Dave.
