My son did it by removing the back, as one of the Crane engineers suggested,
but he did say both approaches would work.

I have to correct something I wrote a little while ago, as I had my son
look at the Crane unit and he was able to figure out how to get at the
screw, and now the unit is working nicely.

I may be wrong about this, but it seems to me that the design of the Crane
unit has somehow been changed, as the descriptions posted in the past of
accessing the screw just won't work on mine, or at least I haven't been able
to figure out how to do it.

An engineer at ccrane told me how to find instructions by going through
google, but I still can't find a place to lift the corner of the label or
remove the back by removing two screws.

They won't mention the screw in the manual because it doesn't comply with
FCC regulations. They do, however, have an entry you can find with Google
describing how to adjust it, although I'm still having a problem getting it
