Well, I pressed the correct button and indeed erased the files! Thanks to
Don Ball for the instructions! I was pressing the wrong button to select
"Yes", so, of course, it was not erasing!

For sure... I'm not messing with folders! I got the manual, but it's not

Of course the easy way would be to connect the turntable to the mixer if you
still have it, saves you buying an extra fono
