again, I want the archive, not just updating the companion. Meaning, I
want the installer to share with a friend who cannot update her
companion since she does not have the latest version which is needed for
updating the firmware in the original stream.

I am surprised that you can’t update the Conpanian from within the software
itself.

to get the latest version of any of the firmware updates, and my friend
on my drop box list does not have the latest companion update.

You should be able to check for updates for the stream and the companian from
the conpanian itself.
You will find it all in the help menu.
There are, however, no more updates for the old stream.
Humanware have said that once any old stock of the old stream has been sold,
