Merging multiple mp3 files in GoldWave with cross fade control

Hello. I am able to merge a bunch of mp3 files quickly using the file merge feature in Gw. However I notice that in the resultant merged mp3 file, there is a brief silence between 2 adjacent mp3 files that I merged. is there any way to control this gap using the multiple file merge feature by
