yeah. I hope the netbook for my work experience I will be doing doesn't give
a driver fit with JFW. We are going to hook a regular keyboard to it, and I
will probably use my Aftershokz headphones unless I end up needing something
that can be an earplug and a headset at the same time.

Yep, that's right about the Mic, then again! Mic's come in all shapes and sizes
and the problem is the exact reverse on my Netbook for example, it takes a Mic
but hates line in sources, never successfully got it to work with one until I
started using an external sound device.

That is such a lovely thing, and with Audio Hijack you can route anything
where you want, but not so confusing as the big numbers of audio repeaters.
The one thing that kind of took me off guard is that a mac book will not
take an analog mic directly, so it needs to be a USB one or something at
could you resend the link then, cause i did not get the link.

Well if you call stating the facts insulting
Firstly, - unless you're talking a Mac Pro System - the Mac does not take sound
cards, all Mac machines have a built-in analogue/digital audio input/output to
start with which are probably useful for most situations.
If you wish to add a sound device then this is done using the USB ports, I use
Hi,
I would be curious to know what does VAC do that can not be achieved
with multiple sound cards?
Thanks.

Well if you call stating the facts insulting I guess I am. I understand you
want to use it but Chris has explained it twice and very clearly. Also, I
recently sent to this list an audio podcast of another person demoing and
explaining VAC and if you are genuinely interested in using VAC then you

Hello everyone, I am trying to use the Yeti microphone with Skype, however
it is not working. I have set it as the default, and I checked in the sound
options, and it seems to be connected fine, the drivers are installed. Every
time I try to record to test it, Goldwave gives me an error message, wh

This program isn't for you then, end of. With every program you need to
understand what it is and how it works before you have an idea on how to
use it. Virtual Audio Cable is no exception.

I'm not sure what would happen trying to get it into the US, but wonder if I
want this between my computer sound card and phone? I can probably get
adequate levels out of the Aftershokz headphones, 70 percent on the Mac Book
in XP is almost blasting.

Hi!
I received this amplifier in the mail today and said I'd write to the list with
my findings.
Not much needs to be said, amp does all it claims to do.
The device looks like a small fuse holder with a clip on the back for
attachment to a pocket or collar. At one end is a lead for plugging i
Hahah! Good luck Chris with your attempts for further explanations to this
