You do get a free trial for 7 days, I think.
Then you have to subscribe weather it is online or getting a radio and such.
I had Sirius for a few years until we moved into a place where there was no
signal.
Now, We will have to wait for a place where we can have a signal and
hopefully some day
Yeah that's how HOPE is running now, until you pay the 10 dollars the it
unlocks all the features when you put your code into HOPE.

Yes, you can get it on a computer and even on an iPhone or Android device,
but access to the channel selection is not very accessible in either
situation. I wish they were because it would really be a nice choice to
have.

Well, you're correct in a sense. There is still an option. The recorder idles
in record standby. The headphone output can be fed either into an analog
device or to the input of a sound card and hence, a connection to a computer.
It's not exactly a Usb solution but it's workable.
