Strangely enough, I've not had any problems with the scripts, unless there
are a couple commands I don't know.

I use Jaws 11 as well, and It is not working with GW. I think I will go
back a version until the scripts are fixed or gw is fixed.

I'ed be very happy to do it once I have my home theater PC. But as it's

Windows Media Center records in .wtv format, which is described as Windows

I am a Jaws user. I currently use Jaws 13. As for GoldWave settings, you
don't need to change a thing.
You should be able to select audio and copy it. So far, no problems over
here.
Is Jaws 11 the only version you have installed?

I would say I agree with that. What's more, you can get pluggins for it
anyway to do stuff. Not to bash the stuff that comes with the cards, but WMC
is a good well rounded starting point. It's all Jonathan Mozen uses, he has

We've already been over this. In particular, there are a series of commands

Hey Christopher. I posted about this earlier. The reading functions still
don't appear to work, and jaws still speaks as though the clipboard were
empty/selections were not made. Jaws 11 over here...might have something to
do with it, but I think it more likely to be connected with the new GW

Hi,
If I remember correctly mediacenter records in a format complicated to
be converted into somethink more usefull like mpg or ts, and I don't
know if with mediacenter you can record all the streams included in the
channel like a secondary audio stream.
Best regard,

It's true that there is other software that can operate a tuner card and
schedule recordings, but accessibility is not guaranteed. The advantages
of Media Center are that in the program itself, the controls are standard,
eliminating the need for any scripts, and you can read the descriptions o
Nothing is working.

Hi.
I don't know what happened in my recording, but the problem seems to have
resolved itself. I recorded a six hour long file, and it worked great.
Must have hit a key to pause the recording or something.
Thanks for the help.

after all this time using goldwave what are you not remembering that the

I use the software called WinTV 7 that came with my tv card and it
is pretty accessible. I like it especially because it lets me record in
the .ts format. ts Means transport stream, so I don't get further
