Windows Media Player and M4A files under Windows xp

Hi! I have no trouble playing M4A files with Windows Media Player under Windows 7 but can't do the same with Windows Media Player under Windows Xp, does anyone know of a plug-in or anything I can get to change this? Not asking for myself really as I don't much care for audio under Windows Media

Greetings, What format is the song, .mp3 or .wav or windows media or some form of which I know not? If .mp3 or .wav, can you see it in the ITunes system, sorry I don't know much about ITunes, I assume there must be folders in which case, you must be able to access these from GW in the usual way.

Greetings, In the effects menu, go to time warp, be careful though, try a small sample of the file until you have it sounding ok, remember (or save) settings this will sort it. I've opened GW mine is v5.58, I've created a file, put some recording in it, now do alt-c for effects and w for time war
