I believe there is a list for blind ham radio operators. Does anyone
perhaps have the subscription information?

Hi
I use Prism for PC and it works well for me. It's pretty accessible - comes
from the stable that produces Switch audio converter, another fairly
accessible converter program for audio.

Is it possible to either be able to listen to or record just the voice and
guitar from my CDS of John Denver? I feel I could do a much better job of
picking out songs, if I wasn't distracted by other instruments.
Many thanks! Vicky

Does a midi guitar exist? If so, can anyone give me the name of the company or

I was told Media Center works great for tuning into and recording TV
programs, and I do have a Windows 7 computer that I see has Media Center.
But my regular computer, which is being repaired, has XP Home and I've been
told Media Center isn't available for XP Home. We're trying to figure out

Fire sign theatre did something that cd will never accomplish. they put out
an album that one record had three sides. Side two was grooved in a way that
when the needle was set in one groove to get side two then the next groove
over for side three. As a blind person this could raise havack.
I was kind of introduced to something called a mini mac. I couldn't figure
out how to turn it on.

Well that's the world of Windows
If you go to the settings by pressing f4 and find the file and directory
tab, you can browse and specify a place to put your files. Mine are set to
go to albums/extractions.

hello casey, that's exactly what happens on my desktop pc, but it doesn't
happen on my laptop,i do have a folder in "my documents" called "my music"
but there is nothing in it, so i am wondering if i should unload c.dex and

High Adrian,
It's not an LP, it's just a long playing record with the same song on it
over and over again.
On the other side of it, is just the song with just the backup singers with
the lead singer removed.
Some of those tracks, don't have any singers of any kind at all!
This record was import
Yes good vibrations was supposed to be on smile until it got scrapped. Brian
had the song and was busy recording it in 4 studios. However officially no
stereo version existed until the bootlegs started coming out. There were
several mock stereo version using overdubs from an alternate take of go
s due to boomers with disposable income wanting to hear music as they
did in their youth.
Just my 2 cents...

Actually, it's 64GB but that's ok.

John,
Perhaps I shouldn't question an artifact you can check against, but the date
makes no historical sense. Brian Wilson began formulating "good vibrations"
some time during the "Pet Sounds" sessions. As an aside, you can hear stereo
mixes of the rehearsals in the box set, "The Pet Sounds Se
Hello all,
I'm sure to the experts on this list this is a trivial question, but I've
been banging my head on it now for a while.

on at the minute). Now I have a file which is presently in 16-bit mono wav

Joe: As I recall, Cdex automatically creates an MP3 folder when it rips a

it should be, you should be good to go; apparently this is not the case, so
am sure that there's someone else who knows more than I about your p

Hi, Folks! I'm thinking of buying an IPod Touch, the 60-GB model. I
have a few questions:
1. Once VoiceOver's installed, can I delete items from the IPod?
2. If I don't buy movies from Itunes, can I copy movies to my IPod,
and if so, how?
3. Are there any IPods that will do videos or pi
Hi Joe. A very simple way of doing this is to use a second soundcard and a
cheap mixer. It all depends on what you want to spend, but it is a breeze
to record Skype calls etc when you use this method, because you can route
certain signals to certain outputs. HTH, cheers Steve.
