the pocket automatically makes a daisy recording. you make the edits you
want within the recording. if you just want the audio file and don't want
the smil, html and so on, you can get it from the folder or folders
containing the different titles you have created on the sd card.

May I ask what kind of material you use the Pocket to record? I'm happy
that it's completely usable, but want to know whether its quality is high
enough to make it viable as a broadcast and/or creative recorder.
Thanks for any info.

I would have thought you'd only be offered Sound Forge 10, and maybe 9 for a
time now.
The cheaper package is Sony Sound Studio, or some such name like that, and
sells for the price you mention. It's a cut down version of Sound Forge of
course, but does much of what S F does only limited to stere

Bit of a problem for me but not a serious one. I sometimes find it a bit
difficult to follow American speech. Hopefully in a future firmware upgrade
we might see a british voice also.

It definitely would be more accessible, but that's the kind of info
you'd probably get on the ptr1 discussion list, although you'd think
you'd get it here. The thing you should get by briefly joining the

So did anyone actually compare the plextor with the Edirol? I wouldn't use
the Edirol as a main recorder but might add the Plextor to my armoury in the
future, just because of its ease of use without sight, if it is at least as
good as the Edirol
