Check for your file associations. Make sure your audio settings haven't gotten

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your help. I discovered that the program had become corrupted by
some winamp disc writer plugin which kept popping up and would not be
deleted. I finally wound up unstalling that version of the program for a
newer one.

What version of Winamp are you running? You said 3.5, but I'm currently
running 5.552, so version 3.5 would be extremely old. Also, do you have
any more details on what happens when you try to play an MP3 file? Do
you get any error messages? Does anything happen at all?

Hi,
Winamp 3.5 has been my default player for quite awhile. I have checked
all my settings, but can't figure out why nothing will play of all the
winamp files I have. It doesn't say winamp connecting etc. I only use
winamp for playing cds and mp3 files. Any ideas on what to look for.
Brett
Thanx a million this is exactly what I wanted.

Ok so when you go to preferences and under general there is an item in the
treeview called shortcut keys or something like that. When you tab through,
