The Replay Music 3.20 Settings dialog box has been greatly
improved. Doing a control tab or shift control tab within the
settings dialog box will advance or reverse you within a

With JAWS you can do a insert t keyboard command to hear not

Hi Jason:
In order to play Daisy books from RFB&D, you'll need to have an
approved player. Currently they are supporting Humanware's Victor
reader Stream, and other Victor Reader players. This is due to
publishers ristrictions due to Copywright law.
What happens is that through a tech
I would think that shouldn't be a problem if you're already mixed down
to a stereo output.

I am using these players with a DJ mixer.
So in that aspect, there is no choice but to run them in stereo via the RCA
line out jacks.
can I use this kind of conection to run the player in to my sound card?

John,
I would think that the surround sound tracks/coding would make ripping
impossible. I would guess if you played the signal through a stereo and
to your sound card, you could record, but I don't know hat kind of sound
quality you'd get i.e. can you essentially compress the surround down to

High Blackwell,
I guess I will have to do this the hard way.
And that way is, to hook one of the players up to my computer and use an
audio editer to make copies of those SACD's.
I wanted to use either Windows Media Player and or Winamp to rip and burn
copies of these SACD's so that I won't have

I'd be very surprised if you can buy a drive to rip in SACD format.
It's a very specialized format. I've never even seen one for playing
such disks in a computer. I've only seen stand alone ones for stereos.

Hello list members,
Maybe I wasn't clear enough in my first posting.
I am looking to get for my computer a CD drive that can play rip and burn
SACD's.
Just in-case you don't know what those letters mean, they mean: super audio
compact disc.

Hi Jason,
I wasn't aware rfb&d was doing daisy books, i'd rather have that than
tapes, which is what i'm stuck with now.
Anyway, in answer to your question, not really an answer, but what plays
the files now for you? I'd be willing to bet you could convert them.
Dave.

Hi Jason. I don't keep books but have copied a few books for friends and
put them into MP3. The way I did it was to use Reel player. I just went to
CD options and selected copy. I was asked by Reel player if I was happy for
it to import the media files into my documents as MP3 files. I said ye
Hi all,
I have a few daisy books from RFB & D. Does anyone know how to get these
books onto an MP3 player? I would much rather carry my player around
than the cd player.
Or is there a utility to convert daisy books to regular mp3 files that
are in some logical sequential order?
Thanks,
Jason
No
