Hi, I had so much trouble with the extra file size because I was given the distinct impression by some, (probably not on this list) that I could just keep everything in goldwave unbounded and open and close the file and record as long or as short as I needed to, and things would be allright.

murging audio files without silents

Is there a way to murge two audio files into one file but take out the blip of silents that I hear? It's very noticeable during audio effects. No matter how I crop the two files I can't seam to get rid of it. I'm using sound forge, but if another utility is better please let me know. Thanks Cas
