It wil work best if you happen to have an external synthesizer. If your
sound card has "wht you hear or stereo mix" you can record what ever comes
through the soundcard. this will mean having to turn off system sounds and
being sure your speech program is either turned off or muted.

Older SoundBlaster cards offered a slider for bass and trebble,
controlable via Windows's standard mixer. Newer cards don't have these
software sliders anymore. They offer a graphical equalizer software
instead, with which one seemingly can adjust more sound frequency
bands. However, this graphical

Let me add another strong reason for using Radiotime.com.
They are fantastic in repairing broken audio links.
On several occasions, I have reported, via their feedback mechanism, that
an audio link was no longer working the result, more often than not, due
to the link at the station's end being c
brian don't know if this is strictly related, but the menus aren't red out
when using replay AV with jfw 6.20.
Replay tech wouldn't able to shed any light on this, and has been the case
since replay 8 was released in November.
the menus do however work when using jfw 8, I am led to believe.

I come to this thread late. while I still really like Total
Recorder, a good reason to go with Replay A/V is that it will work
perfectly under Vista whereas tR won't.

Hi
A PC Audio list member wrote to me and ask whether I could script around the
plug-in
for the YouSendIt utility. This allows you to record programmes and
immediately have them Emailed to someone else.
I have now done this. When the sign in screen gains focus, the virtual

I have a couple questions about Mp3sparks.
1. Can a blind person use it independently, or is there a CAPTTCHA?
2. While I certainly like the prices, does anybody know if any of
the money reaches any artist? If not, it's no different than using
illegal file sharing services, except that someb
I've been a user of RedButton for a while and like the program. I'm not
sure how it compares to Replay because I'm just now investigating this
program.
RedButton and RadioTime are very handy resources in my opinion. I use a
Squeeze Box (http://www.slimdevices.com) to stream audio in my house and
Replay can convert captured audio into 128, 64, or 32 bit OGG.

Based on the comments I've read here, I am putting RADIO AV on the "to
try" list.
Let me mention another program that I've become enthralled with over the
last couple of weeks namely
RedButton available from
www.radiotime.com.
I am not certain how deep the UK program info is on www.radio

Hi Chris and all
I have obtained this program, and it seems to be very easy to use. I used
the URL finder to get the stream I wanted, and was easily able to schedule a
recording without a problem.
I have not quite worked out the logic in respect of the media guide as yet.
