I use Soundforge! I don't know how much input I could provide, but I would
be ready to listen and learn, and interact with participants if such were
the case.

Hi all, I'm using Replay AV to record a lot of material I want to keep. Has
anyone found software as accessible as MP3 Direct Cut that works for
trimming Windows Media .asf files? Presently I'm using Sound Forge which

Thanks, I will have to check that out as my USB microphone is far better in

Yes I would enjoy doing a tutorial. I know that there are some already done

others but honestly they confused me more than they helped me.

Hi Rick, aha, that would indeed explain it. Winamp will use the default

The input can only be changed between winamp and soundcard. If you have

Hi,
Yes I just went in to Goldwave and did a test recording. I heard Jaws
speaking and I heard winamp playing it's audio stream and my voice from the
microphone when I played the recording back.

Yes I'm sending silence. The number of bytes does go up so I can tell the

Hi Jonathan,

There's not a lot you can do about this, because the mic is being put

Hi Rick, this is really very straight forward. The only issue may be if the
person concerned is using software speech through the same sound card that
the material to be broadcast is coming from.
In the Shoutcast DSP plug-in for Winamp, there are two modes. One sends data
direct from Winamp itself

Hi Rick,
Is there any possibility all that the client might be able or willing to

I see that Brian Hartgen has developed a two volume tutorial dealing with

Hi Rick,
I'm no expert in this kind of broadcasting as I use Station Playlist Studio
to take care of a lot of this nowadays, but I think what you're looking for
