think the intro thing is something every automated station of any kind has
to deal with. I guess if things were always live assisted, it isn't too
important to have a display we couldn't see.

Firstly it uncompresse it in .wav and then you can edit it and back to
compressed format. But it's not so bad. :)

What other media playing program have you recently installed? One way of

Joe! Maybe the bitrate of those particular MP3s is too slow to play on
your diskman. Players that play MP3s don't necessarily play all MP3s.
