anything else for this file format?
In fact, winamp also plays windows Media files. I now listen to the BBC,
CBC and Radio Netherlands only in Winamp thanks to this support.

I'm currently trying to convert my large list of songs ripped in wav format in
Itunes into an MP3 format while holding onto the tags. I can do this in Itunes

Are you sure that you are at that point in the file when you hit the left
bracket key? In other words, if you get to the point to put your start
marker, then stop the recording with the space bar, you will return to
wherever your start marker origionally was, thus, if you hit the left
bracket

well first off you'd fine it much easier to manage the ipod with rockbox as
it makes it a umc device, meaning that when it was connected you'd just drag
and drop like your moving it to another drive. The menus and the like would
be spoken by synthesized wave files
