You're right, the machines are rather old. I got them from my school to
mess with. There's no way OSX would run on them. I'll look around for a
used version of outspoken. I can't find mininum specs on it any more
even. I probably wouldn't use the machines for much, just basically for

Older macs will work with a program called "outspoken" You might be able to
find a used version. The founder of that company died and I don't know if it
is still sold. IMO, you would be much better off with a pc. The program

I just got my hands on some vintage macintosh computers. I've got a pair
of LC2's that both seem to work. My question is, is there a screenreader
out there, such as Vocal Eyes that I can get my hands on that will work
with them, or are tehy too old for that without being upgraded?

Well I do think one needs to learn how to use it. You can push any Koddex
to far. I usually set my to default level to about 96 which takes care of
about every bitrates.
Very convenient for batching your tunes to transfer to your rockbox.

One has to be careful not to normalize to the clipping point with that one.
I think it just does something to the mp3 itself that can be undone, so if
you clip it, just undo and try again.
