Hi again,
How do you tell audacity how to start a selection let's say at a specific
point and how to stop the selection. Does anybody find this program useful? I
normally use a program called fast edit which does cost a little but I wouldn't
mind trying out an alternative.

When I connect the player to my computer, I hear the ding dong sound that

I believe that would be an AM signal booster or AM amplifier or something.
No, I'm asking about an AM equivalent to the FM transmitters which have
been frequently discussed here. Speaking of which, thanks, everyone, for
the great and helpful answers I've been getting.

That would be pretty cool but not practical to write I would think. I

I primarily use TeamTalk for voice chatting.
It can be found at www.bearware.dk.

Does anyone remember a station broadcasting over the net pretty exclusively
