Hi Andy. I definitely agree with you when you say that developments like
Media Center deserve our attention. As we've found here, some will endorse
it and some won't, but I would really hate to turn it aside out of hand
because one given screen reader has not advanced to the point where it can
Hi Andy,
My wife and I passed up a deal on a Dell Inspiron 6000 becaused the Dell
company insisted we had to accept XP Media Center as our operating system.
After checking with Freedom Scientific, we were informed that we should

Hi, I am running Jaws 7 Pro on a 2005 Media Center and the access is

Larry,
I am using Media Center 2005 with Window Eyes and I would say it is about
80% accessible. I can use the program guide, schedule recordings for
up-coming programs, and browse to see what is on at what time. I can also
easily see a list of recorded programs and do whatever I need like play
Hi Don
I don't believe it's possible to do that, at least I've not seen
anything in the options to speed up any recordings. I know you can
schedule times for recording from several different sources, but I

Maybe I'm wrong? If I am, I'm sure someone will let me

It uses Windows Media Player for streaming, and I don't appear to have any
other options. Does WMP ahve a seek-to-time feature?
