Hello André,
Right, but underscores don't break pronunciation by speech synthesizers,
unless you've got a really messed up system.
In some command-line operating systems, you can put the file name in
quotes and maintain spaces, but they don't all work like this.

I still don't like them! I prefer spaces between words and apostrophes
instead of accent signs. It also makes pronounciation by the synthesizer
more correct.

That's why I was thinking that allofmp3 explorer might make things easier by

the underscores are there for a reason - they're
a useful tool for maintaining filename integrity
on commandline operating systems such as the Unix family.

I use the mp3 tag program to do that with that site, and make the accent
signs into apostrophes. It is real hard to automate renaming of those files
to a simple artist - track.mp3. It adds all this lame 128 or lame 192 and
other garbage to the name.

Thanks very much. Wish I could get it to remove the underline symbol
between words in a title though. Oh yes - is there a way to download a
complete album at once and not have to download tracks individually?
Must say allofmp3.com is one of the best music sites I have seen in a long
time

Since winmx seems to no longer work what are other alternative sharing
programs people are using? I have a hosts file which I got to use with
winmx but it seems to not work any more and I have not founded an
updated hosts file.

I don't know if that assumption is correct, especially with a

I'm just glad that it was google that took a stake in AOL instead of
Microsoft buying it. We could all see what would happen to winamp if MS
owned it. Media player is OK for streaming, but for normal playback, winamp
is faster, lighter, and better.

Hi. I agree. Absolutely no need to convert mp3 to mp4, that'd be silly to
do. Leave the mp3 as is and be happy. Most folks want everything in mp3
anyways.

Roden,
As I explained in a series of messages on this list, yesterday, it makes no
sense to convert an MP3 into an M4A. all that would do would be to make a
very good copy of a very poor copy of the original audio. It would NOT
convert a poor copy into a good copy. Unless you have access to an

Rob! If you burn MP3's onto a CD an older CD player probably won't
