I think whatever sound you have assigned to the Windows event labeled
"Asterisk" is supposed to sound when a download finishes. But I'm not sure
it always works that way for me, either. Still, try it and see if it works
for you.

Someone should demonstrate how that voicetrack thing it is said to have
works. Since it can do so much, wonder why commercial stations don't use it,
but maybe I'm wrong there and some do? I suppose fancy things like hourly

You're in Canada. It might be a cheaper and easier solution to get a PVR
from the cable or satellite company. I use a PVR from Bell ExpressVu.

Hi Ken. I should have explained it better! Tevo is a type of DVR (digital
video recorder). I think it's considered software. You can pay so much to
use it, or you can buy it outright! Comcast has their own DVR program, and
probably Direct TV does, also! Tevo uses a harddrive to record prog
Hmmm. I have nero sweet, and a sony dvd recorder/player, and it can also

Hi Ken
Nero Burning Rom is a nice and very easy to use JAWS friendly program. I
don't know the current price, but others can fill in the blanks. To fit in
most regular cd players on your stereo, I'd stay away from dvd's
though. Most standard cd players can't play them. But if you'll be aroun

Hi Kelly.
You might want to uninstall CDEx and reinstall to see if that cures the
problem first. What version of CDEx are you using?
If you're still having problems and can't track down the ASPI drivers,
please e-mail me privately and I'll send them to you.

Kelly, I found this information on the CDEX website which may help you out.
If you have Software or Hardware from Adaptec, you can obtain the drivers
from the Adaptec site. If you have not any of that, you can use a utility

for Windows NT and Window 98) named ASPI_ME, although it is offici
