I'd like to know, which dvd playing software folks are having most success
with, accessing it with screen readers? doesn't matter which screen
reader, question is access to the dvd software.
You can write me off list if you'd rather not clutter it up here.

Bruce, I vaguely remember something about getting rid of advertisements in Real
Player 10.5.
I believe it was something to do with the accessibility options or configuring
the player for visually impaired.
I believe there might be a pop-up blocker one can use that can get rid of the
ads.

To perform a search from within the library, go to your view tab.
I believe you have to name your view or it might already be called "my new

You suggested using the page up and down keys to move the cursor. Good

Hi Dana,
Just a thought, what if you get the actual name of the soundcard in question,
and then use the Windows search for *.ini files,
and include the name of your soundcard in the containing text field of the
search.
It may not yield the results you want, but it's a start, and you might get
luck
I'm having a problem I haven't had before: I'm not able to configure Real
Player 10.5, which I've just now updated. I can't get rid of the Real
Player advertisements, and I can't set the media types I want RP to play,
with either JAWS or WE.

Nolan! Perhaps you could use up-arrow as much as you need to make the
increment small enough and use page-up and page-down to move the cursor.

Hello there!

perhaps, through a modification to win.ini or some other Windows system

Thanks you.

Well, as far as I know, there is no way I can record. The reason is because
the help is not accessible with Screen readers. I had to have sighted
assistance to read it to me.

John,
I'll work with it a while and let you know what I come up with. In the mean
time if any others have worked with Audacity, let me know how this thing
works. Keyboard commands wood be helpful. The bottom line is, this is all
I can afford.

Hi, Jim,
You suggested I use the arrow keys up and down without the shift to narrow
the selections. That works great, as long as Im' not actually selecting
anything. It doesn't help with the shift-left arrow or shift-right arrow
selections. They're still too big, even with one tap of the right
hi Byron
Ok, the word "vocals", is what tripped me up a bit. In the radio biz, they
refer to when you speak as a voice break.
Vocals are when someone sings in a song.
But anyways, try setting the sam encoders to point to your sound card,
rather than the audio pipeline.
