disk copying easy CD extractor problems

I am having two problems. I cannot get a CD to copy, I can't copy the tracks off it and easy cD extractor fails on about track four and will not continue. This is a book and this is CD #4 so I want to copy the whole CD. Any suggestions? Kurt ___ PC-
