Hi, this is Steve. I thought I understood a few months ago, but now
I am confused again. Just to see what would happen, using Roxio Easy CD
Creator, I placed a data disc in the burner, chose music CD, and made a copy
of a Cd from a .cif. I put it in my regular audio CD player, and it pla

Tom, I'm not selecting channel 4. Yes, it is at the top of the list, and I
see it there, and I keep going down to channel 7, and if the window isn't
maximized with f11, I get the 40s anyway. This morning I got it when I
selected the Nashville channel on my first try, and that button is at the

Hello,
I have been reading this thread with interest and have a few comments. I
do think the XM on line site should be made more accessible but I do differ
with some of the comments made by users of the radios who say they are a
snap to use and quite accessible. They are, in fact, just barely
Ann: Don't know if this will help..but it might be that the reason you're
getting "channel 4 is that..that's the first one in the list at the top of
the player. Hope that helps.

I have the "XM Online"..and don't think the quality is bad at all! Have
been listening through my FM transmitter to the "fifties channel. I get
bumped off now and then. But all in all..it's pretty good; just wish they'd
make that player more "screenreader friendly!"

Sirius is more accessible, no doubt. And if you could only purchase it
online (last time I checked, you couldn't, it's free for the online if you
have one of their receivers) then that is what I would have for online. I
think the sound quality for XM online is fine, better than my AM radio
anyway.

My husband got an XM Radio boom box for Christmas this year. I think the
sound quality is quite good. I wouldn't compare it, at all, to A M radio.

Ah well it's easy enough, and I just got the new

only ever use 1 of them because the others require use

Gary! You certainly can use Naturally Speaking with JAWS. It would be
very difficult to set it up however without the help of J-Say. J-Say is
JAWS scripts and more that make Naturally Speaking usable by JAWS users.

Joshua! It is well known that WinAmp for some reason can't play a CD

We bought XM so we could hear Bob Edwards and the baseball games. We also
bought the boombox that is all one piece; it's a fairly new gizmo. My
husband and I just pick it up and put it in the car with us. I don't think
the sound quality is quite THAT bad! Smile. But I must give cudos to
