What variant of the Audigy do you have and what inputs does your 5.1 control box use? One thing to do after you have everything installed is to uncheck AC3 decoding under the Audigy and let the external decoder do the work. A techie from Yamaha mentioned a while back that the Soundblaster does so

Hello, try RealWavRecorder. This program will take a .ram file and play it straight through, converting it into a .wav file. If you're file is long, either enjoy it while it plays or run it overnight, because it plays the entire file through. You of course have to configure it first, which isn't to

This version has some differences such as being able to play more audio formats. It is very accessible. If you're happy with RealPlayer 8 there's probably no need to upgrade but I usually like to get the latest versions of software but this is purely a matter of personal preference. ***
