In the properties of the tracks in Nero. What I do is select the tracks from
track2 to the end. Then press Alt-enter and check the cross fade with
previous track option and then ok. This w2orks perfectly. To check all you
need to do is press $7 from Nero before and then after this cross fading

It's not easy to select areas in a file in Diamond Cut. It may be possible
with the Jaws cursor but I think not. As I've said in another email to
someone on the list, I edit the file first in Cool Edit (Audition), taking a
small portion of file with only the noise and loading it into DC5. I

What I did was to go to radioshack and buy a small amplifier for around $20 I think.
It gave me a tremendous amount of gain, far more than I actually needed, so just set
the volume control on it at a low level. The amp is powered by a 9-volt
battery or you could get an AC adaptor.
