Hi Astrid, Thank you for the pull request, it has been merged. Another option would be to split the vmdk 7z file into 2 parts an upload them to source forge. This would require users to download both files. Still a notification would be required in the docs. Thank you for preparing the news

Hello Angelos, makes sense to change the link for the vmdk in the docs. I made a PR https://github.com/OSGeo/OSGeoLive-doc/pull/790 Althought we will miss the statistics for the vmdk from sourceforge as we host the vmdk on osgeo infrastructure. mayybe we can also provide statistics from here.
