Hi,
Shall we have it on Tuesday next week? We haven't had a call for a few weeks
already.
Best regards,

Hi Rozet,
Please find the attached network settings file.
I had installed and provisioned the OPNFV target system to VM nodes based on
the user guide (i.e section: Installation Guide - Virtual Deployment )
Below options/parameters are used while running opnfv-deploy:
sudo opnfv-deploy -v --v
I agree, the thing to solve here is for the purely openstack activities we want
to perform on the VIM.
Looking at areas like access connectivity and distributed cloud technologies
these are capabilities that will most likely require more than an OpenStack
northbound interface from the VIM. T
Yes,you are right, the “TestSuite” here covers whole set of all dovetail test
cases
The value of this “TestSuite” should be consist with the names of lists that
mentioned in this patch,like “compliance_set" , “proposed_tests"

There are two ways of leveraging python-openstackclient.
One way is using the shell call to fire the command and it takes care of
plugins including heat, which means heat is able to be used.
Plugins are listed here:

“TestSuite: basic”
Maybe I am reading the sample in a different way, but the title above, to me,
seems to show it is citing an area “basic” out of the whole set of all dovetail
test cases. If you do intend to mean the whole test suite, then maybe a better
name would be “Colorado”?
Like this:
Hi All,
I agree that we should discuess more about how to refactor the test script
to let it become more modular, readable and maintainable.
The programming languages is the first step.
I propsed a framwork about the refactor the test script[1].
This is my init ideal, any comments are welcome.
Thanks, Bryan.
Part of me was afraid someone was going to point out this (rather obvious)
position. The "afraid" comes only from my perspective of not knowing how to go
about doing this correctly (i.e. upstream) and lack of overall knowledge of the
OpenStack client itself that makes me feel li
Hi, doctors,
Carlos has started code refactoring of the test script[1]. It looks good to
separate common function and installer specific function into different
modules and improve the readability of main script.[2][3]
I just have some concerns about the future complexibility of this test
script.
I would say that:
1) We should strive to directly leverage upstream clients directly, and
specifically the python-openstackclient in all cases where it serves our need
for the specific OPNFV system version.

test case management may have 3 levels like this:
TestSuite — TestArea — TestCase
So as the report, it is better to show the test suite in the summary part
and show test area, test case in details
Otherwise for one test suite, it will produce multiple reports showing each
test area,

Suggest “TestSuite” -> “TestArea”… for consistency and to reserve Suite for
broader concept.

Hi Patrick,
In Apex, configuring bonds is not supported yet. It is possible in TripleO and
with some advanced config you could use a workaround, but for now let's just
focus on getting the deployment to work. When you execute the deployment (use
--debug arg to opnfv-deploy), can you console in

Yes I tested both scenarios (server w/ last SF and server w/o last SF).
Can you please try to reproduce the suggestions I made and report the results?
Regardless it should be interesting to see if any of these have an impact on
the test.
Thanks,

I checked my security groups, it looks like that:

done by APEX automatically.

Hi Morgan,
Thank you for your clarification. This help a lot for me.
To finish the test case selection work, I think maybe we should firstly create
a table for the scenario owners to modify the test case configuration in the
DB, and then offer an API for scenario owners to modify this table.
