Never tried it (I personally prefer tcsh due to a lot of "old-school
time" with freebsd and OS X, but I've only build OpenWrt "under" bash
and zsh ...)
I assume it is due to the differences between the shell-branches ..?

hello,
does anybody using the tcsh to build OpenWRT?
Using the tcsh as login shell the gcc build process fails. If I'm using
the bash it works without problems.

PS:
The initial build stage of the gcc claims during the configure process
that -auxbase is an unknown option.
