Go the root folder of your checkout and execute:
svn switch --relocate https://svn.openwrt.org/openwrt/trunk
svn://svn.openwrt.org/openwrt/trunk
Then update the trunk just normally and after that the feeds.

This is the same kind of error (504 Gateway Time-out) I try to follow
the "Developer" link at the top
