You can flash the the kernel only by using mtd directly, but you may
need the lzma compressed one. Make also sure to update the rootfs at
the same time.
If you want to use the webinterface or sysupgrade, you need the
*-sysupgrade.bin image.

in my RouterStation using the web interface and the RouterStation said
that wrong binary file. ¿Can I load this binary to my RouterStation

The ar71xx is a mips.
But make sure you get the right version of the package, trunk
snapshots won't work with 8.09.
