Bit of follow up for this issue. By tracking down the function that caused the crash, it was in 'crashlog_init_fs'. This function uses and 'address' that seem to be initialized if the config symbol: CONFIG_NO_BOOTMEM is NOT defined... Apparently it is defined, and the crashlog_addr variable

I have just tried kernel 3.3 on p1020wlan and it seems to run with empty target patches folder. Only eth0 is working at the moment and most probably dts file has to be adapted slightly for eth1. What kind of other Freescale patches are you planning to port? Wojtek - Original Message - >
