ZBT-WE1206 has an external watchdog that with stock openwrt resets the board.
should this get disabled in bringup or is this considered a downstream problem?

not sure. the bootstrap vec seems to be all zero

i'm trying to bring up the ZBT WE826-Q, but usb wont come up.
After much digging,
deleting patches-4.14/920-usb-chipidea-AR933x-platform-support.patch solves
the issue.
How is this supposed to work with other boards?
