Hello
Do you have any clue, what could produce b43? Because, after looking
at the code, I'm kinda at a loss, where this comes from. And do you
know, which patch exactly produces the problem?
I will split the patch up, but it may take a day or two, until I have
the time. Some of the other patches ar
The kernel in backfire is too big to fit into the default kernel
partition. This patch solves this problem by making it bigger.
I have tested it on the Mikrotik Routerboard 433AH.

wget2nand didnt check the exit status after copying the kernel, if the
copying failed for some reason ( for example not enougs space on the
kernel partition) it simply continued extracting the rootfs.
I also changed the filename, which wget2nand trys to download (
.tar.gz instead of .tgz ).

Hi,
I have noticed that in /etc/rc.d S20fstab comes before S39usb. Is there any
reason for this? Shouldn't it be done the other way around (usb first,
filesystems later)?

This patch bumps gpsd version to 2.92. It also adds an uci configuration
file where the user can configure the serial port and the default listening
port for gpsd. The patch also adds an init script and an hotplug script
that
starts the daemon when a serial device is plugged.

Good evening,
link to the issue : https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/7335
I realize now that the issue is quite weird and that the original title is not
exactly fitting. Here are the results of my tests on a WRT54GL running
backfire, with serial port. FWIW, the unit at the other end of the WDS is a

Could you remove the if and always execute the code which assigns
bus->nr_devices?
This shouldn't be a problem, because the bits for the device number
should be zero on cores which don't support it.

You can flash the the kernel only by using mtd directly, but you may
need the lzma compressed one. Make also sure to update the rootfs at
the same time.
If you want to use the webinterface or sysupgrade, you need the
*-sysupgrade.bin image.

I'm actually u
The ar71xx is a mips.
But make sure you get the right version of the package, trunk
snapshots won't work with 8.09.
