In my experience, this error is sometimes due to invisible "garbage"
characters in the file.
A more recent version of Tunnelblick (3.3beta21b or 3.3beta54) might
provide more detailed error messages, particularly if you tell Tunnelblick
to use a later version of OpenVPN. Oh, and look in the Consol
