our most used region has 2 controllers with the following specs each:
- 8G ram
- 8 vCores (our control plane runs inside VMs)
for now both controllers use each about 7.1 to 7.3 GB of RAM with cache and
3.4 to 4.7 GB of RAM without Cache.
But: Our controllers don't run neutron-server,

Since it is our just test bed for testing Mitaka before running on
production then the resource is not too much. We had 4GB of controller
for trying Mitaka but it seems running out of it after installing
controller. In Liberty, it did not happen. Otherwise, currently we have
reports

what reports are you talking about specifically? We have a small Mitaka
plattform but don't see more RAM consumption than on our Kilo one.
Also what specs does your controllers have, how many compute nodes are in your
platform?
