If you disable discovery/unknown hosts on both of the pxe servers, you should be able to define the machine in only one of the pxe servers and boot it reliably. I've mixed Ironic and Cobbler managed hosts on the same network this way. Thanks, Kevin From: Adam La

We manage clouds using PXE (at least) and we want to deploy ironic which also uses PXE. We just want to deploy Ironic clouds aside adjacent to other cl

You can get admin_pass from the openstack metadata directory in config drive, and use a boot-time script to set the password accordingly. This example assumes the dhcp style metadata, but you can see how you could simply change it to read the fail instead https://gist.github.com/vishvananda/40087

Hi Ops, I just started a wider discussion about the proposal we made in Vancouver to stop doing "stable point releases" in the future, which can be TL;DR: as: - We propose to stop tagging coordinated point releases (like 2015.1.1) - We continue maintaining stable branches as a trusted source of s

Hi all, I need a bit help with this issue in Icehouse. The root password injection of libvirt, which worked pretty well, stops working after configuring the *force_config_drive*. And now, the config drive is working perfectly used by the cloud-init which mounts the /dev/sr0, takes metadata, s
