Dose it mean that when use Open vSwitch as Neutron Plugin, we can not use both
KVM and Vmware as the underlying hypervisors at the same time?
It's very appreciated that those folks from Vmware could answer this question.
I apologize if this question was already covered and I missed it.
Hi yongiman:
Your idea is good, but I think the auto HA operation is not OpenStack’s
business. IMO, Ceilometer offers ‘monitoring’, Nova offers ‘evacuation’, and
you can combine them to realize HA operation.
So, I’m afraid I can’t understand the specific implementation details very well.

Hi all:
When I read (http://docs.openstack.org/trunk/openstack-ops/content/compute_nodes.html),
there is a note as follows:
"It is also possible to run multiple hypervisors in a single deployment using
Host Aggregates or Cells. However, an individual compute node can only run a

Probably worth a discussion at the upcoming summit.

IMO, Neutron and Cinder are both not ready for 'Cell'. In current
implementation, Neutron and Cinder both don't know anything about cells, I'm
afraid it's just an experimental feature.
And , in a large scale deployment(maybe multi-DC), we should consider the
performance of volumes and network a
