I had always wanted this to happen. It is really frustrating when nova throws wierd python exceptions and difficult to comprehend log messages. If the developers do agree to clean up the interface I would suggest they make use of some well knows protocol (mpls/rsvp) to do this, instead of relying

@Germy Lure, I cannot give you a direct answer as I am not a developer. But let me point out that openstack can make use of many agents for l3 and above and not just neutron-l3-agent. You may even create your own agent. The 'neutron-l3-agent' works that way just to keep things simple. One point t

Hi, I saw the table of contents. I have posted documents on configuring openstack neutron-openvswitch-plugin, comparison between networking devices and thier linux software components and also about the working principles of neutron-ovs-plugin at layer 2 and neutron-l3-agent at layer 3 . My intenti
