All,
I am planning to build Openstack Private cloud for my company. We have bunch of
Dell blade servers but very old - so probably investing on resources on it is
not good idea.
I am looking for acquiring new Server with high amount of CPU and Memory

Virtual vs. Physical Resources
Ok, now I realize what you meant by "virtual resources," e.g. instances,
volumes, networks...resources provided by existing OpenStack schedulers. In
this case "physical resources" are actually more "removed" since ther

Guys,
I filed a bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/keystone/+bug/1210590 to address this
problem. Also, I posted a comment with the solution I found to bypass the
problem.
Thanks,

This is definitely a bug of some form or another. When you change either
size or checksum, I believe you lose the ability to download your image. I
still want to think a bit more to be assured that "fixing" this bug isn't
somehow backwards incompatible, however.
It seems like (only) the v1 api is

Taking a "snapshot" of swift seems counterintuitive to me. It seems like
there would be a number of gaps - no locking to allow for a consistent

Maybe I misunderstand your goal.

Hello, Patrick!
We have several reasons to think that for the virtual resources this
possibility is interesting. If we speak about physical resources, user may
use them in the different ways, that's why it is impossible to include base
actions with them to the reservation service. But speaking abo

When I operate nova system, sometimes I need a definite result for vm
creation.
I think real user recognize vm activation by network connection(like
connect to ssh).
So, I'd like to add log to check network connectivity for vm in
nova-compute.log
After vm boot, just check ping and teln
