I read through that the firewalld was not stopped during installation. I'm not
sure if that could have cause some invalid insertions/deletions into iptables.

So by rebooting the nodes everything should be OK which isn't.
Can you tell me if in your "/etc/sysconfig/iptables" you have any other rules
that DROP or REJECT packages?

Can your host system reach internet?
If so, is it behind any firewall?

Yes, Glance can be used to manage ISO file and this can be configured to shared
by multiple instances as is.
But as far as I know, this ISO image cannot be used to boot an instance.
